NATIONAL SIGNING DAY | Scholarships first, state title next for Oviedo volleyball seniors?


Oviedo’s girls volleyball team is preparing to play for the Class 9A state championship on Friday afternoon.But all four of the Lions seniors took a little time out to celebrate another major milestone in their lives on Wednesday morning. They were among the 11 Oviedo athletes who signed college scholarships in a breakfast ceremony on the opening day of the NCAA’s November national signing period.
