UIL volleyball: Bryson falls in Class A state semifinals


The Bryson Cowgirls are headed to the Class A state tournament.(Photo: Brian Smith/Jacksboro Herald-Gazette)GARLAND – Bryson’s remarkable run to the Class A State Tournament ended Wednesday afternoon as Neches handed the Cowgirls a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 loss in the semifinals.Neches (40-4) advances to play Water Valley (31-11) at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Class A title game, while Bryson ends its first state tournament appearance with a 25-18 record.
